Dyed rice!!!
Coloured rice! Simple. Fun …… sensory play!!! Endless possibilities for all ages!
All you need is rice, a container with lid or zip lock sandwich bag, food dye, rubbing alcohol, hand sanitiser or vinegar.
I usually don’t follow an exact recipe but combine rice, colouring & hand sanitiser and close the bag or container and shake….. shake…. shake, swooosh…. until all the rice is covered and dyed.
Lay out to dry on a tray and dye each colour separately and combine when dry.
We found these gel food colouring from a dollar store but you can use any, the supermarket ones are a bargain.
