Our pretty stars! These are basic MDF from @spotlightstores and we painted them white and layered each colour, our tip, add 1 colour, wait to dry, add the next and so on! Stop paints from going murky & yucky colours. Then, added white posca marks over the top when finished!! We used global paints from their website and,made in Sydney Australia.  Support local always!!

A good old rainy week here in Sydney………

Rainbow watercolour paper cloud & rainbow wool, using our own decorative paper using watercolours & acrylic spray paints, we used acrylic paint and watered it down until we were happy with consistency,  the bottles are from @ikea_australia for $1.50 each.

Adding rainbows to every day crafty activities!!

Our gorgeous watercoloured rainbows  painted onto plain wooden ones…….., these plain rainbows are from @riotartandcraft and we used our favorite watercolours…… by @micador …. we had the whole 48 colour palette choose from, can’t recommend them enough and really enjoy sharing our very loved  art supplies here!!!! We added puff fabric paint dots to these for some texture……I’ll play around and see what we create with more supplies in our art space!

Air dry clay cookies inspired from a real cookie decorating kit!!
Part 1 was using real cookie cutters using air dry clay, we used the @crayola one from @spotlightstores and available online too, these took a few days to dry depending on the weather.
We used @micador watercolours to paint the first layer.
So cute, almost good enough to eat!

An old favorite with the kids….. especially the boys who can get some energy out by spinning the lid. Sensory rainbow rice!!! Rainbow rice!! Coloured rice! Simple. Fun …… sensory play!!! Endless possibilities for all ages! We used rice from the supermarket,  you can google or check out pinterest for different ways to colour or dye the rice, we used psints from @globalcolours  but food colouring is also superb awesomeand,easy to use, a splash of vinegar or rubbing alcohol in a zip lock bag or container, shake around until rice is covered, we put our rice out on a tray to dry in each colour batch, then once dry, mix all the colours together!!
