Rainbow puff paint!
Our gorgeous watercoloured rainbows  painted onto plain wooden ones…….., these plain rainbows are from @riotartandcraft and we used our favorite watercolours…… by @micador …. we had the whole 48 colour palette choose from, can’t recommend them enough and really enjoy sharing our very loved  art supplies here!!!! We added puff fabric paint dots to these for some texture……I’ll play around and see what we create with more supplies in our art space!

Slime Sunday!!!
So much fun today making the most delicious,  textured slime, adding oils. I even learnt a few things from the kids which is wonderful but just trial and error too, that’s how we learn!! The kids love this stuff!!!

Our gorgeous prints from the heart bubble wrap, even the tiny bags of bubble  wrap are so pretty that we will definitely use them in another activity.

We used the Ikea Mala paints onto the bubble wrap then gently pressed plain A3 paper onto the painted bubble wrap, we made fun rainbow arch patterns with these paints, we love making gorgeous patterns and use the paper for more projects with the kids like collage art, this inspires the next creative activity and the kids feel proud that they painted the paper, there’s no right or wrong way when creating art, its about the process and the joy it brings!!! We just played around and you know how we love our rainbows!!!!

Pom poms!!!! Scarlette practicing the new pom pom maker technique,  using different coloured wools on each side to make a multicoloured pom poms. They look so beautiful! The set of 2 pom pom makers are a bargain @kmartaus for $3. I found these with the scrapbooking paper and adult craft, each store varies and they also sell online, hope that helps! Splat painting getting arty and messy! Inspired by @acraftyliving

We had an old rug that was covered in drops of paints in our studio so we made even bigger splats, blobs of paint, covered with paper or make up cloth, use a rubber mallet from @bunnings
Australia and smash away, its messy and fun all rolled into an awesome art experience for any age!!!

Sensory letter boxes! Practising writing and spelling,  have a break fron tradional ways, these are a fun way to get your fingers working or just using your imagination to create patterns!
We used our rainbow rice that we posted a few photos back, we used our glitter & corn flour in the third box.
These boxes were timber from @riotartandcraft
But we spray pained them black.

Hours of fun and busy making gorgeous creations, pretend play at its best! The kids loves watching cooking programs on cakes and desserts so they loved this!!……. using basic supermarket baking supplies, we turned these into a fun activity with shaving foam! All you have to do is wash and reuse another time.
A messy fun sensory experience so this was set up outside do a quick hose down was easy at the end.

Sensory rainbow rice!!! Rainbow rice!! Coloured rice! Simple. Fun …… sensory play!!! Endless possibilities for all ages! We used rice from the supermarket,  you can google or check out pinterest for different ways to colour or dye the rice, we used food colouring, a splash of vinegar or rubbing alcohol in a zip lock bag or container, shake around until rice is covered, we put our rice out on a tray to dry in each colour batch, then once dry, mix all the colours together!!

Paper plate transformed into a gorgeous neon rainbow mobile, we have a beautiful collection of neon pipe cleaners so this turned out so pretty and bright!!!! We used @micador fluro watercolours, added extra water to make a paint splatter technique using the brush and tapping it over the plate & a 20pack of paper plates from the supermarket for $2… bargain!! We have a stash of beads from @spotlightstores that we used for matching colours to the pipe cleaners.
