Halloween potions, galaxy jars, wish jars, unicorn poop jars, mermaid hair jars, gratitude jars!!!! ….. endless idea’s for these amazing jars!!!! We found these rad plastic jars @kmartaus Australia,  the cotton balls inside are from supermarkets, any paint can be used, watered down and a skewer or something to poke the cotton balls so they get jammed in that jar and filled up with paint. You can check out pinterest for idea’s and videos on how to perfect these and our sweet little labels are from @krafterskorneraus and the kids will come up with some clever names of these potions!!! Glitter optional but a must for us!!!!

Our spooky fun bleeding tissue background, I found the tissue paper on Amazon,  make sure its the bleeding one, after trial and error and always learning that some dont bleed …. so cut up, layed down on construction (we used @micador )or watercolour paper, lightly spray with water, leave until dry, peel of tissue paper……then …taddddaaaaaaa!!! Remember that beautiful accidental background we created from using our finished @micador paper pad, tadaaaa, …….we added a web with acrylic paint, you could use anything like a sharpie or posca paint marker and a cute spider cut out glued on. We painted our wooden beads & straws using @micador fluro watercolours palette too!

More upcycled paper using bubble wrap from a delivery.

We used the Ikea Mala paints onto the bubble wrap then gently pressed plain A3 paper onto the painted bubble wrap, we made fun patterns with these paints, we love making gorgeous patterns and use the paper for more projects with the kids like collage art, this inspires the next creative activity and the kids feel proud that they painted the paper, there’s no right or wrong way!!! We just played around and you know how we love rainbows!!!!

We added a little bit of glitter to  the bubble wrap, even that looks gorgeous!

More pasta painted art…… The most beautiful coloured pasta ready for kids to make art!!!!

We use a zip lock bag with a bunch of mixed pasta shapes and a bit of acrylic paint, we use @globalcolours , i just added a little bit more paint if the pasta wasn’t covered after i swooshed it around,  then popped them on the trays to dry in the sun!! We we used the silver baking trays on sale from @colessupermarkets and will definitely reuse them for more crafty projects!!!

There are loads of pasta painting recipes on pinterest too, some you can add rubbing alcohol or hand sanitiser.

Who doesn’t love decorating paper mache!?…… these plain bowls from @zart_art and added a pop of colour from @globalcolours and the outside painted with that devine copper paint.
This design reminds me of a bright festive pinwheeel.
For a beautiful finish we added a gold posca line to divide each colour and around the trim.
These will definitely come in handy to hold our crafty supplies!!
