Cookie inspired craft!
My big sister gifted us a beautiful box of a cookie decorating set for our time in lockdown when we weren’t feeling so great!! The kids had fun!!
We made a batch of more cookies but using air dry clay, they harden over a few days if its cool or in a day if its hot…. can’t wait to add our pretend icing!!

Spray paint beads, this was fun, we found these gorgeous wooden beads & fluroesent spray paints from @kmartaus
We used a paint tray and added a couple of colours at a time, let dry before adding another,  this allows the colours to stay bright and not go muddy.
These magical rainbow pony beads from @spotlightstores and they are very used & loved!!

Kids artworks, it’s about the process not the final peice, it can be both, rewarding aswell……. but  take the pressure of the kids, let them explore, create, use their imagination, enjoy the journey of art making, the sensory input, make art with new tools, you don’t have to use paint brushes, find new ways to get paint on to canvas or paper!! Another favourite,  these spray paints are so fun, the colours are awesome and used so much!!
These paints are awesomeeeeeee!!! We have been using them so much in our crafty creations,  they are $5 from @kmartaus with all the stationary goodies, highly recommend these, they have given us such stunning effects, it works better if you can let each layer dry to avoid muddy murky colours or use similar colours together, like pink/orange. Or purple/blue etc… hope that helps a little bit?!

Our hand painted alphabet, making letter recognition fun by making letter garlands in the home for the kids to see!!!

We found these cute little wooden letters @bunnings Australia in the craft section for $10, they are the perfect size for kids, i’m inspired to hang them up to display. We drilled little holes to hang them up. Rainbow inspired messy painting sessions as normal at our place! …..

Paper plates & pipe cleaners!

Paper plate transformed into a gorgeous neon rainbow mobile, we have a beautiful collection of neon pipe cleaners so this turned out so pretty and bright!!!! We used @micador fluro watercolours, added extra water to make a paint splatter technique using the brush and tapping it over the plate & a 20 pack of paper plates from the supermarket for $2… bargain!! We have a stash of beads from @spotlightstores that we used for matching colours to the pipe cleaners.

I wanted to share some fun activities using a few things from the home, we made Tupperware prints, using a container,  we painted the base and used a cotton tip to draw designs, then placed the paper onto the paint and pressed down, peel off…..tadddaaa…. our gorgeous prints, endless idea’s.  You can use any shaped container and any paint. Crepe paper!!!

This was bringing back memories as a kid, do you remember doing these or scrunching up bit of tissue paper or crepe paper into tiny balls,  pouring glue and slowly sticking paper balls and trying to get them off your fingers!! Air dry clay is the best!!!

Making crafts with the air dry lightweight clay from @lincraft ………. kids will loooooove this if they are slime fans!!!! This stuff is aaaaaaawwwwweeeesome!!!!

We used a silicone cupcake mould get the mould and shape and gently kneaded the clay, we let it dry for atleast 24-48 hours and we love it!!!

Decorated the tops with puff paints from @kmartaus & used some decorative goodies we had at home in our craft stash.
