There is some aunshine trying to get through the clouds…..It’s Autumn here in Sydney so we were inspired by the amazing rainbow salt @prekwolfpack ….. it was seriously so magical….. ours is a more subtle autumn tone but will definitely be making more!!!! Dyed rock salt!!

 Simple. Fun …… sensory play!!! Endless possibilities for all ages! We found really cheap bags of rock salt @colessupermarkets & @woolworths_au for around $2  per bag, so use as many as you’d like!! …….. and our fantastic @kmartaus play tray. This is a fantastic project if your on a budget because you can buy 20 paper plates for around $3-$5 and you can use any materials to paint the plate, we used @micador watercolours and the glitter from @riotartandcraft

In Sydney we are in the end of summer so some sunshine inspired paper plate craft, ive noticed more shops stocking some awesome colourful paper party plates, perfect for crafty projects. We found some plates party shops, dollar stores, ebay, @kmartaus & @targetaus & wooden pegs from @bigwaustralia or @bunningsbunnings We used this rainbow one from @targetaus but you could make it with any coloured plate and paint the pegs. We used gold glitter & glue for the pegs and glitter puff paint to make the face.

Hama beads, fuse beads, also known as perler beads or melty beads are so therapeutic, I notice they bring in stillness, calming, therapeutic for the repetitive motion, especially the larger ones! I’ve noticed these are fantastic for mixed ages too!

We used alot of these during the lockdown last year too and the kids made some really awesome ones!
