Washi tape love!!! How addictive is washi tape, sooooo many pattern’s & colours to collect, and so this was a beautiful way to compliment these black & white pattern’s on a gorgeous vibrant rainbow. Super budget friendly after finding these washi tapes @kmart for a bargain and sticking these into A4 paper and popped in an A4 frame from @ikea_australia Inspiration for Valentine’s Day….❤
Love heart banner! A cute mix of mixed media for this one, valentine’s day heart inspiration is everywhere and it’s so nice!
We found these blank banners @riotartandcraft & used the fluroesent spray paints from @kmart. Adding the stitching & tassels with the bright wool from @spotlightstores and the finishing touches of the paint marker heart using @lifeofcolour.pens
Spray paint hearts! More hearts!! More inspiration for valentine’s day! Yay!! We absolutely love hearts! We upcycled some cardboard and traced out some hearts and used the fun spray paints from @kmartaus and kept layering until it was filled with every colour!! The other side left blank for cute live notes!
Can’t resist painting these sweet heart canvases, a bargain from @kmartaus and using our favorite paints made in Sydney by @globalcolours …. flower paint trays from @micador A creative way to paint is using make up sponges to blend paints, you get a gorgeous smooth blend of colours!
Decorations and patterns intop of the dry paint are made using gorgeous paint markers, paint pens from @lifeofcolour.pens ❤

Our plain white paper plates from @colessupermarkets and our little felt triangls from a kmart mosaic kit in the kids craft section, spray paint effect using kmart fluro pump bottles. We used a stapler to attach triangles into the plate.
We used felt triangles but they work with coloured paper aswell.
Using paint markers or sharpie markers for the sweet face.

Our gorgeous fluro hearts, we used cardboard from some deliveries, cut them up into hearts!….
These spray paints are awesomeeeeeee!!! We have been using them so much in our crafty creations, they are $5 from @kmartaus with all the stationary goodies, highly recommend these, they have given us such stunning effects, it works better if you can let each layer dry to avoid muddy murky colours or use similar colours together, like pink/orange.
Or purple/blue etc… hope that helps a little bit?! Ohhh and painting tbe surface white to get brighter results.

It’s been summer holidays here in Sydney Australia, so these days have been perfect for paint popsicles!
They were fun to make, layer each colour in the tray which can takea few hours or give a day to prepare these, pop in the freezer and bring out on a hot day for melting rainbow paint!
We used acrylic paint with water, about half half quantity if that helps!” I used the 6 square silicone mould from @kmartaus and added popcicle sticks for the handle. We used acrylic paint from @globalcolours and added a little bit of water to get a thick consistency for each layer.
Our gorgeous watercoloured rainbows painted onto plain wooden ones…….., these plain rainbows are from @riotartandcraft and we used our favorite watercolours…… by @micador …. we had the whole 48 colour palette choose from, can’t recommend them enough and really enjoy sharing our very loved art supplies here!!!!
We added puff fabric paint texture to these for some 3D texture……I’ll play around and see what we create with more supplies in our art space! Our delicious rainbow puff paints from @spotlightstores

Upcycling bubble wrap to make fun textured bubble wrap prints!
…………More upcycled paper using bubble wrap from a delivery. We used the Ikea Mala paints onto the bubble wrap then gently pressed plain A3 paper onto the painted bubble wrap.
We made fun patterns with these paints, we love making gorgeous patterns and use the paper for more projects with the kids like collage art, this inspires the next creative activity and the kids feel proud that they painted the paper, there’s no right or wrong way!!!
We just played around and you know how we love rainbows!!!

Beads!!!! Aren’t these amazing, so many different shapes & textures to explore and build your own necklace or bracelets. The kids enjoy making them to gift for friends and share around which is wonderful. It’s a few weeks away for the summer school holidays here in Sydney so these are set up to keep them busy with some screen free time too!

We found really cheap bags of rock salt @colessupermarkets & @woolworths_au for around $2 per bag, so use as many as you’d like!! …….. and our fantastic @kmartaus play tray.
We use medium zip lock bags but you can also use plastic or metal containers that can be washed out easily by using food colouring, add as much colour as you’d like depending on how bright you like your colours, seal bags and massage paints into salts quickly so they don’t get too soggy …. lay out on tray to dry!
