Rock salt dyed with food colouring. Sensory fun.

It’s Winter here in Sydney so we were inspired by the amazing rainbow salt @prekwolfpack ….. it was seriously so magical….. ours is a more subtle autumn tone but will definitely be making more!!!! Dyed rock salt!! πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸŒΏπŸŒΏπŸŒΏ Simple. Fun …… sensory play!!! Endless possibilities for all ages! We found really cheap bags of rock salt @colessupermarkets & @woolworths_au for around $2 per bag, so use as many as you’d like!! …….. and our fantastic @kmartaus play tray. We use medium zip lock bags but you can also use plastic or metal containers that can be washed out easily by using food colouring, add as much colour as you’d like depending on how bright you like your colours, seal bags and massage paints into salts quickly so they don’t get too soggy 😝😜 ….. lay out on tray to dry! πŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– #sensory #sensoryplay #sensoryplaytime #sensoryplay #sensorybox #kmartplaytray #colouredrice #foodcolouring #kidscraft #learning #kidslearning #creativekids #toddleractivity #toddler #toddlercraft #creativeplay #imagination #kids #children #playgroup #daycare #preschool #familydaycare #rainbow #rainbowsalt #openendedplay #earlylearning101 #rainbowcraft #salt #dyedsalt
