Anyone else obsessed with paper staws!!??? I can’t believe how many gorgeous colours and patters are around!!! Paper straws!!!!!! Seriously, such a wonderful craft supply must have for kids who love craft!!!! Rainbow straw bead necklaces, another great way to use paper straws, perfect for little fingers to thread!!! We looooooove paper straws!!! These are unreal for crafty projects, we cut these up to make some pretty rainbow inspired kids necklaces. They are great for threading activities/fine motor skills & rainy day activities etc……!!! You can find these in so many shops now, like party shops & online, ebay!!! 💜✌💚 #paperstraws

Using the mask templates from previous post here for book art………This book is sooooooo cute, arrgghhh the artwork is so bright & colourful. Im so inspired to create some fun artworks & crafts to go along with this book for children to expand their memory & story of this book even more. Bringing mindfullness & breathe like a bear, filled with 30 mindfull moments for kids to feel calm & focused anytime, anywhere. Absolute old favorite! Rainbow watercolour paper cloud & rainbow ribbon using our own decorative paper using watercolours & acrylic spray paints, we used acrylic paint and watered it down until we were happy with consistency, the bottles are from @ikea_australia for $1.50 each. Paper plate and paper pattie cake flowers! Cupcake pattie paper, aren’t they pretty, so effective layers different sizes paper making these sweet flowers! We bought the paper plates from @colessupermarkets or @woolworths_au for $2 packet of 20, such a bargain. Note messy paint inspired wrapping paper! We used the paints we had left over rather than wasting them we used them up!!!! Or….. I use the paper under arty crafty sessions and upcycle the paper, love this project for Christmas paper too, the kids love it and feel so proud!!!!! 💖❤🧡💛💚💙💜💗

We had a nice little collection of broken crayons and so we found these cute chocolates silicone moulds at Kmart Australia for around $2 each, the kids enjoyed braking them up even more into tiny pieces and fill up the moulds, we put the oven on around 150degrees, popped the moulds on a tray in case any wax melted over the sides, we kept an eye on these for around 15 minutes or until fully melted wax. Wait until they are fully cooled before removing from moulds. Tadaaaa….. sweet little crayons, perfect for gifts or the kids to proudly use!!!!

Gorgeous hand painted watercolour tags for pretty labels, these turned out so bright and helped the kids with their reading, also help children put their toys away but giving toys and belongings a “home” This makes clean up a little easier! Rainbows!!!!!!! We made this happy little rainbow using air dry clay, to cheer up our indoor plants and these would look so sweet anywhere!!!! We used the clay from @kmartaus Australia, you can find air dry clay on Amazon too……and mixed our own colours, you can see in the pack it wasn’t a heap if colours but it was a learning experience for kids to create new colours and warm up their hands at the same time! We used bamboo skewers once we made the rainbow and gave it 24 -48 hours on a surface to dry before adding it to the pot plant. 💗💜💙💚💛🧡❤💖

Little science experiments with wombok or also called Chinese cabbage, this was awesome to watch, it soaked up really quickly and i did add a fair bit of food colouring but they look so pretty!!! You could also use liquid watercolours, I found food colouring easy because everything is available from the supermarket. 💗💜💙💚💛🧡❤💖

This was bringing back memories as a kid, do you remember doing these or scrunching up bit of tissue paper or crepe paper into tiny balls, pouring the glue, We also added a little bit of glitter ☺💗💜💙💚💛🧡❤💖

We love paper straws!!!!!! Rainbow arches using playdoh, cut up polka dot straws & pipe cleaners! This is a cute activity for mixed ages, you can even add less straw pieces and rainbow coloured pipe cleaners for another version of a gorgeous rainbow!!!! 💖❤🧡💛💚💙💜💗

These pencils are so beautiful, they have lasted years, and the pigments are so vibrant.

Pencils that last, these babies, they aren’t cheap but the colour & quality they produce are magic. I personally allow my children to try new art supplies but also give them quality, why do kids get cheap nasty pencils that do nothing but tear the paper and make a faint line, would you feel encouraged to keep drawing?? Part of using quality supplies is teaching kids to respect their pencils, paint brushes etc…. guidance in teaching them, why don’t they deserve gorgeous rich vibrant pencils that last. This is something I’m very passionate about, its starts in their little artistic world!!! These are called Lyra pencils, you can get them individually @officeworks or online @mercuriusaustralia (make sure you get the larger pencil sharpener for these) we have had ours for years, atleast 5 years!!!!! 💗💜💙💚💛🧡💖🌞🌞🌞
