Dream catchers, gorgeous hanging art made by very creative girls between ages of 7-10, given the supplies and seeing what they create! I found all the supplies at Spotlight stores in Australia, the embroidery hoops have a cotton fabric over them, we used sharpie markers, then you can use rubbing alcohol from Woolworths or Coles supermarkets in green bottle or alcohol spray from Bunnings to allow the marker in to run, it’s pretty awesome and endless idea to children to get so creative!!!! 💖💜💙💚💛🧡❤💗 Adding glitter is optional, we used glitter glue!

These are so simple, the effects are so stunning, I used our gorgeous crayons or oil pastels from micador available online or I found them at Big W Australia, and their vibrant watercolours over the top, just two art mediums, I used a watercolour paper to get the best vibrant results but I can be easily used on any paper, experiment and play! Paint chip cards, endless ideas for these, so many crafty ways to use them, we made a simple heart shape for hanging hearts, we used pipe cleaner for threading, easy for little fingers to thread beads and cut up paper straws. Hope you feel inspired to create too!!! 💖💖💖💖💖

Summer time frozen hearts, these are filled with sensory treasures, I had this sweet heart baking tin and I’m not a big cook…. haha, always finding a different use for things, so we filled it with objects I had in my craft stash, filled it up with water and popped it in the freeze overnight, the next day it was used on a hot summers day to cool everyone down, by touching the ice, you automatically cool down, so with a pipet sucking up water and sprinkles of salt, watching this melt and discover treasures is a great way to engage little ones, kid friendly ways of learning basic science, and STEM activities. The excitement of little faces getting the sparkly Pom poms is so cute!!! This will work with with any baking tin. Hope you feel inspired to create!!!!

Our cute spiders, these little babies might make an appearance for Halloween again this year, super fun, we use a styrofoam balls, any size you like, we found a packet of them from Spotlight or Riot Art & Craft stores in Australia. We already had mixed wool to wrap around the body, pipe cleaners for legs and glued some google eyes on to give them personality. Hope you feel inspired to create too!!

Chalk pastels & sandpaper for a fun sensory art lesson or art play session for any ages!!! We found this roll of sandpaper at Bunnings and you can find more textures and shapes there!

This gorgeous creation is so effective from cut up crepe paper into squares, we used painting tape from Bunnings, clear contact, peel the plastic back and the little bits of paper stick nicely to the sticky contact, looks stunning with the sun shining through, this can be also adapted to a smaller or larger version, I drew an arch guide and…… you can make any patterns or images!!! These were an absolute delight to make, they are so sweet and look even better where there is a bunch of these flowers. We used paper straws as the stem, the sweet cupcake patties have been collected over the year as I see them at the supermarket, dollar stores or party shops. It’s not hard to collect these if your a crafter and all the shapes & sizes go together perfectly. We used tiny pins in the middle to hold them securely to the paper straws, they are from Clever Patch in Australia. This was so much fun, I’ve tried both art supplies at different times but not together so I love trying a new technique and experimenting, for more inspiration search these techniques or search on YouTube for some amazing artist using these supplies, I bought these from our local art shop called Riot Art & Craft in Australia, using special paper called yupo paper. More upcycled paper using bubble wrap from a delivery. We used the Ikea Mala paints onto the bubble wrap then gently pressed plain A3 paper onto the painted bubble wrap, we made fun patterns with these paints, we love making gorgeous patterns and use the paper for more projects with the kids like collage art, this inspires the next creative activity and the kids feel proud that they painted the paper, there’s no right or wrong way!!! It’s Winter here in Sydney so we were inspired by the amazing rainbow salt @prekwolfpack ….. it was seriously so magical….. ours is a more subtle autumn tone but will definitely be making more!!!! We found really cheap bags of rock salt @colessupermarkets & @woolworths_au for around $2 per bag, so use as many as you’d like!! …….. and our fantastic @kmartaus play tray. Our gorgeous fluro hearts, we used cardboard from some deliveries, cut them up into hearts!…. These spray paints are awesomeeeeeee!!! We have been using them so much in our crafty creations, they are $5 from @kmartaus with all the stationary goodies, highly recommend these, they have given us such stunning effects, it works better if you can let each layer dry to avoid muddy murky colours or use similar colours together, like pink/orange. Or purple/blue etc… hope that helps a little bit?! Ekkkk, i found such cute funny photos of Scarlette, Sylus & their friends from over 5 years ago when we were playing with some sensory paint experiments. We have chickens so we used their eggs, cracked them super carefully so we just opened the top, used the yolks for cooking, then carefully washed them and used up all our old tubes of paint, squeezed all mixed colours into the eggs, ready for art egg smash!!!!!! We had to make our little chicks nest match their cute little fluffy feathers, rainbow paper, we used the fluro spray bottle paints from @kmartaus but ive noticed they have discontinued them, 😞… they are really awesome paints, so will try and create something similar!! The bowl is also made using the air dry clay! 💖❤🧡💛💚💙💜💗
