How addictive is washi tape, sooooo many pattern’s & colours to collect, and so this was a beautiful way to compliment these black & white pattern’s on a gorgeous vibrant rainbow.
Super budget friendly after finding these washi tapes @kmart for a bargain and sticking these into A4 paper and popped in an A4 frame from @ikea_australia

Hooray for giant rainbow hearts! We cut up some big boxes and made this baby! How beautiful is it!!? We used our global paints @globalcolours and a big box from a canvas that we bought,  was fun to cut up, saving on art supplies and budget friendly is recycling and its the best way to save and still create fantastic creations!

Bead decorating,  this could get addictive!

Spray paint beads, this was fun, we found these gorgeous wooden beads & fluroesent spray paints fromv@kmartaus
We used a paint tray and added a couple of colours at a time, let dry before adding another,  this allows the colours to stay bright and not go muddy.

At the end of a good painting workshop or painting session with my kids & even when i paint, instead of washing the paint down the drain, we have sensory messy fun!! We get super messy, we explore, use fun painting tools to get different effects (even kitchen utensils 😉😊🤟💗) and we use a canvas paint drop sheet that dries, and reused for the next awesomely fun messy paint play!!!!!! Definitely an outside activity!

Get sensory & play………., our hands are painting tools too, this activity can be a challenge with mess, but you can also use water based paints that are easy to wash and another option!

The kids made these sweet little hearts out of sculpy cooking clay a while back after seeing the blog @mericherryla kindness hearts. Leaving these little treasures around in surprise spots for people to find or just to give to friends. It’s a thoughtful crafty project. We need to refill our jar! We had some boxed we cut up, used our favourite watercolours @micador and made every colour heart. We added a little cute valentine’s message using stamps from @kmart & a shapie marker decoration.

We leave these around the house for the kids to find.

Hours of fun and busy making gorgeous creations, pretend play at its best! Children love watching cooking programs on cakes and desserts so the kids loved this!!……. using basic supermarket sponges, we turned these into a fun activity with shaving foam! All you have to do is wash and reuse another time.
You can also add food colouring to the shaving foam, we added paper confetti and feathers, sequins and treasures we had at home for ptetend cake toppings.

It’s hot humid weather in Sydney Australia at the moment so these are a winner!!! Frozen ice balls with lil treats inside. Our wooden tree branches pieces sanded back and using a white posca marker to draw the alphabet. They are dyed with watercolour paints but can also use powdered dyes & paints, they asorb really well. They have been something different to use with spelling activities. They store easily in a pretty jar or our @bunnings  box. We have used or little branch pieces for a few things, We cut up big sticks found on the ground,  we only use fallen branches and allow them to dry if damp.

It’s going to be a warm humid day in Sydney this weekend so we have our frozen pom poms ready made in our square ice cube trays from @kmartaus & @targetaus for $1.50 -$2. Once frozen you can store them in containers or zip lock bags and get them out whenever your ready.  Its handy having them in storage bags or containers  in the freezer, even handy for rainny day activities.
